How far can a truck travel on $500.00 worth of fuel?
Since 2001, diesel prices have risen an average 20% per year. Like all carriers, we have implemented a fuel surcharge index to offset the increase in the price of fuel.
By separating out the additional cost of fuel from our base rates, shippers only pay an increased cost when the price of fuel rises. When it drops, the savings are realized immediately.
For shipments going less than 100 miles or for LTL ( less than truckload freight), we charge a percentage of the freight bill. For TL (truckload shipments) over 100 miles, we charge by the mile.
Fuel Prices per gallon shall be determined by the DOE Energy Information Administration weekly survey of self-serve diesel fuel (national average) which is published each Monday.

Adjustment in rates will be made on every Tuesday.
